Wow, what a month it’s been at Whispers in the Trees! After Facebook changed their policy allowing 3rd party applications to connect to Personal Pages on Facebook, I lost 256 followers! Oh my! But, with a little ingenuity (and a lot of hours searching the web) I’ve figured out how to start gaining followers through other social media outlets, and more people than ever are visiting the site!

Coming up in September is Autism and Back to School month. I’ll be talking about how to ease your autistic child back into the classroom, how to help your grade 9 Asperger’s/Autism/Learning Disabled student get started in high school without any meltdowns, and how to make the best of your new-found free time for a healthier you!

October is rapidly approaching, and so is ‘Blogtober,’ which means I will be writing a post every day on all things fall, halloween, and winter prep. You’ll want to Follow my blog so that you can be eligible for a super-awesome GIVEAWAY that I’ll be holding during Blogtober! So register now and don’t miss out on this great opportunity – more to come on that soon!

I’ve also partnered up with The Zebra Pit, and will be featuring one article a month on the last Tuesday of the month on their site, so if you like what you see here, you’ll probably find even more of it there! Check it out at https://zebrapit.com.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I’d love to see more of you comment on my posts, and let me know how you relate to the content, and whether you have anything to add, or a personal story to share. We’re all in this together, folks, and I’m always open to suggestions and requests to write about something that is important to you – whether it’s Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, or Autism related; or, perhaps you’d prefer that I share more of my gluten-free vegetarian recipes with you! Don’t be shy – you can whisper it in my comments section 🙂

Take care everyone, and enjoy what’s left of the summer!
